Type HC2 galvanized bow type shackle with pin, nut and cotter pin (type C). Shackles with pin, nut and cotter pin are used for long-term connections and for those purposes where the pin may rotate under load. A larger bow shape allows these types of shackles to be side loaded or used in multiple sling-leg connections. This type of shackles can be used for side pulling.

Specifications

A bolt type shackle features the combination of a bolt and nut located alongside a cotter pin. These types of shackles remain secure even when the shackle is subjected to rotation or torque. The tightening nut and the cotter pin eliminate the need to tighten the pin prior to every lift or movement of a load. Galvanized shackles are protected against elements that may cause accelerated corrosion or deterioration to the product. The product is marked with WLL, nominal size and CE-sign. All shackles are supplied with instructions for use and a CE declaration of conformity. The pin is varnished. Take into account the maximum load capacity of the shackles in different lifting configuration.
