Protective equipment

Before any employees use lifting equipment for the first time, it is important to ensure that all employees in the workplace are equipped with the necessary protective gear. This includes a safety helmet, protective footwear with a steel cap, and protective gloves. Additionally, depending on the nature of the work at the workplace, the employer should consider providing additional protective equipment such as goggles, reflective gear, face shields, welding masks, raincoats, and warm work clothes. If circumstances require, the employer should also add any other protective equipment that complies with the relevant occupational safety legislation.
